DESIGNER

I have loved drawing ever since I was little. My grandpa used to do portraits and wall paintings. As I live in a glass-making area, it was only a small step from combining artistic expression and studying at a glass-making school. Working with glass became the love of my life. Many years later, I am still fascinated by how malleable and vibrant it is, and by the unique optical properties it has. As a material, glass gives me space to look for new methods and production processes. I enjoy meeting unusual requirements which, at first, seem impossible to fulfill. This is the biggest professional challenge for me.

Projects I am proud of:

  • ””””The Book of Glass-Blown Shapes”””” – a detailed survey of the shapes developed in the last decade
  • Design concept of the light feature ””””Knot”””” – Light deLight (Sans Souci catalogue 2015)
  • Design concept of the light feature ””””Vortex”””” – Light deLight (Sans Souci catalogue 2015
