The 7132 Hotel offers a unique experience for the mind, body and senses, representing the heart of Alpine luxury. It provides the chance to unwind, and it suddenly all comes together. The service, attentive yet never intrusive. The ancient beauty of the mountains all around. And last but not least, the impressive architecture.
On that note, the Grisons architect Peter Zumthor didn’t just build the thermal baths – he created a masterpiece out of 60,000 quartzite slabs. An architectural milestone that was classified as a listed building shortly after completion. Having won national and international awards, the thermal baths attract those in search of relaxation as well as architecture enthusiasts from all over the world.
In a fruitful cooperation with the interior design firm Thőny Projekt (http://www.moebelthoeny.li), we are delighted that we could provide our light installation Bowls to adorn the reception area. The beauty of this light fixture centers on a simple shape and the ever-attractive contrast. The smooth, mouth-blown bowls were rotated 90 degrees and suspended with the convex parts facing one another. This created a wave that is very elegant yet also pleasantly disordered. The chosen color variant certainly enlivens the luxurious space. Recommendation: booking a penthouse room at the 7132, guests are offered a complimentary helicopter ride!
